KKTICK Tank T6
New rugged smartwatch that will arrive soon
KKTICK and DT No.1 has announced the upcoming launch of a new rugged and durable smartwatch designed for adventure and outdoor enthusiasts: the KKTICK Tank T6. This new model shows a more elegant look than its predecessor, the Tank T5, which offered a sportier design. Despite this more refined style, its durability remains remarkable, as the watch body is constructed from metal (specifically polished zinc and stainless steel) providing considerable resistance while also giving it a fashionable appearance.
Its screen is, as expected, AMOLED, providing more than acceptable visibility in almos any environment, measuring 1.43 inches and with 466x466 pixels, which is what we already saw in the Tank T5.
Its weak point might be the battery, as it will apparently be 500 mAh, while its predecessor had an 860 mAh battery. Even so, this should offer more than acceptable battery life, easily lasting between 12 and 15 days of use.
As for storage and sports modes, they don't differ from what we've seen before, as it has the same 4GB of internal storage and more than 100 sports modes (we'll see if it's more than 100 or exactly 100). And it also maintains the water resistance up to 3 ATM that the previous Tank offered.
The rest of its features will also be very similar, offering the ability to make calls via Bluetooth, the option to use TWS headphones, and the use of offline maps. Regarding the latter, KKTICK mentions that the GPS will use 6 satellites and will be able to obtain the position quickly even in areas that can be more problematic for geolocation, such as areas with very large buildings or very dense forests.
This new smartwatch will be equipped with the ATS3085S chip, making it compatible with the watchfaces featured on this blog. So if you buy it, you know you'll be able to download the watchfaces and use them on it.
The first impressions, based on what can be seen in their images and videos, are positive, and apart from the battery, which I think should have had a higher capacity, I think this smartwatch, both in terms of its appearance and its capabilities, is quite promising.
Although it hasn't been released yet, the KKTICK Tank T6 is available for pre-order at the following address: https://store.dtno1.com/products/tank-t6
